We all have walls. I have them. You have them. If you don’t see your walls, open your eyes and you’ll see.

We have walls of trust that keeps us from believing everything we see and hear. We have walls that keep us from pursuing our dreams. We have walls that keep us from letting others see the part of us that struggles, doubts, and is weak.

Walls keep others from getting in and keep us from getting out. The trouble is that what we really want is on the other side of the wall.

Connection, compassion, love, trust, resilience, and transparency all help the walls come down. It may surprise you to find out that, in the end, the wall was scarier than what was on the other side.

Let’s take down our walls and really connect.
